This traffic light lets you play PONG with the person on the other side of the street

In the most awesome addition to basically any city in quite some time, design students Sandro Engel and Amelie Künzler came up with the brilliant idea of replacing your normal street crossing button with a game of Pong. There's a touch screen installed that let's you play head-to-head with a random stranger waiting on the other side of the street, making it a simple, elegant, and perfectly retro touch to any neighborhood. Totally love it... Currently only in Hildesheim, Germany, but it will certainly be expanding soon. Here it is in action...
