Freelance photographer Jan De Roos' personal quest for isolation led him to the southernmost tip of South America. Totally immersed with the culture, and studying the ways of local life, he quickly became enthralled with what The End of the World had to offer. Jan stayed there four months – and photographed some of the best rugged landscapes of Patagonia we've ever spotted.
His documentary-style of photography gracefully illustrates the wild nature of Patagonia most won't get to see in person. So we can only be thankful for adventure-ready folk like Jan – and that his weapon of choice is a Canon 5D Mark II with a 24-70MM 2.8 Lens.
