Dehen Knitting Company has been a leader in heavyweight apparel for men since it kicked off the brand in 1920. And their latest release — an upscaled take on the Motorcycle Sweater — does everything right.
Taking inspiration from vintage racing pictures of Steve McQueen and the like, the half-zip sweatshirt is cut from 100% worsted wool knitted on vintage machines from the 40s and features a retro-inspired turtle zip collar paired with a Talon zipper and pull. The look is finished off with open cuffs and an open shirttail hem for additional style points along with double-needle stitched internal elbow patches for boosted durability.
