NYC-based menswear designer Todd Snyder and his namesake label just unleashed a new collaboration with Brooklyn-based contemporary artist Tracy Morgan featuring hand-applied paint splatters across a number of pieces.
“There’s something about paint-splattered clothing,” notes Morgan. “Everyone just loves the ease of it.” For this capsule, she used watered-down house paint and took careful consideration when selecting that colors to mix with what pieces. “White looks good on denim," she notes. "Sweatshirts are more about conversations between different colors, and I really like painting on chinos because they remind me of a canvas."
The collection, which arrives in limited numbers, includes a garment-washed crewneck sweatshirt, Japanese selvedge chinos, a chambray work shirt, and an unbeatably cool denim jacket with a hit of stretch. Check them all out here.
