This Lookbook Is Somewhere Between James Bond And Steve McQueen

Mission critical menswear from Knot Standard.

New York-based custom clothing kings Knot Standard are known for beautiful fabrics sourced from the finest English and Italian mills including Holland & Sherry, Vitale Barberis, Reda, Loro Piana and Zegna, transformed into beautifully fitting threads by some equally accomplished tailors, with an easy ordering process and all at a price that won't break the bank.

For their new fall/winter campaign they embarked on a stylish sojourn to Newport, complete with convertible Aston Martins, vintage motorbikes, a pretty girl or two and some even more attractive clothes. The color and pattern combos they've come up with are pretty killer, but you can choose from thousands of other fabrics if you wish.

We also dig the ability to add dandified details like throat latches and contrasting buttonhole stitching for a truly bespoke look. The overall effect is somewhere between James Bond and Steve McQueen in The Thomas Crown Affair.

Meanwhile TRAUB Capital, the private equity investment arm of Marvin Traub Associates, just announced a major investment in the brand, which means more goodies to come including five new showrooms in 2016, including L.A. and San Francisco. So no more excuses, West Coast.
