Taylor Stitch has just rolled out the first few items in its new collaboration with Stetson, the iconic American hat maker founded in 1865, and you're going to want to make some space in your wardrobe. The two brands which share a dedication to craftsmanship will produce an initial capsule collection of seven pieces exclusively available on over the next month or so.

To create the collection, which will include denim, hats and shirting, the two companies "married Taylor Stitch’s responsible manufacturing principles with Stetson’s classic cowboy aesthetic."

Going from concept to reality, "we set out to build products that look just as good dust kickin’ as city slickin’," the S.F.-based apparel artisans note. "Hitting open roads and city bars in the same day without missing a beat. Clothes that conform to you and not the other way around."

The initial offering includes two fits of denim jeans, available in the brand's signature Slim and Democratic cuts, made of 14-oz. 100% organic cotton Green Cast selvedge denim. Featuring a "slubby, low-tension" weave, "this denim will feel fantastic on the first wear—and even better on the thousandth," they promise. 

And as the name suggests, "Green Cast denim introduces green sulphur into the dyeing process, giving these jeans a unique undertone that reveals itself gradually as the more traditional indigo dye fades." Should be looking pretty good by the time you hit that thousandth wear...
