Taylor Stitch's New Hemp-Mix Shirt Jacket Goes the Extra Mile

"No wardrobe is complete without a reliable mid-weight jacket—one you can reach for first thing in the morning that'll carry you through a full day without skipping a beat." Words of wisdom from Taylor Stitch, the San Francisco-based apparel artisans who don't so much make mere items of clothing as a succession of grail pieces.

The latest example: the Quilted Jacket in indigo Boss Duck, one of the brand's many miracle fabrics that show they are never content to rest on their laurels when it comes to making men look as good as possible.

The Quilted Jacket is a next-level shirt-jacket hybrid "combining timeless good looks with a suite of killer features to ensure you're ready for whatever's on the horizon," as Taylor Stitch notes. That equates to "ample storage, cozy insulation, and some signature details [like] antique brass hardware, an array of handy pockets, and a modern dropped-back hem."

Available for discounted pre-order now with delivery slated for late fall when you'll want it most, the jacket's Boss Duck outer layer is a hemp-based blend that "offers incredible durability and out-of-the-box comfort in equal measure," they note.

Complementing this tough-as-nails shell is a super soft 9-oz. organic cotton blanket lining, and a damned handsome diamond quilt pattern insulated with 100% recycled polyester for extra protection from the cold—all of which make this "an early frontrunner in the race for winter wear superiority."
