There is seemingly no end to what Taylor Stitch can do with the iconic trucker jacket. We've seen the S.F.-based apparel artisans render it in myriad ways, and you might have thought they'd run out of ideas by now. Of course, that will never happen. And their latest offering, the Dispatch Jacket in Navy Jaspe, is proof.
What is jaspe, you ask? It's yet another of Taylor Stitch's custom fabrics, created by weaving multi-colored yarns together to create a "rich, mottled look... lending this classic silhouette some one-of-a-kind character that’ll become even more pronounced with each wash and wear."
And of course, it's 100% organic cotton, while the color is like nothing you've seen before, with texture to kill for.
The Jaspe Dispatch borrows several of its most distinctive features, including pleats along the front, from the original denim trucker jacket, but, the brand notes, "we’ve equipped it with a handful of smart updates, including a modern, tailored fit, to keep it from languishing in the history books."
Rounding out the details are custom-branded donut hole buttons, T.S.'s signature SF map print pocketing, and numerous pockets, including two on the inside at waist level, for storing gear and keeping your hands warm, as the situation warrants.
