We've seen a lot of sustainably-minded clothing companies working with hemp these days. And you might say the S.F.-based apparel artisans at Taylor Stitch were the first to take the cannabis variant mainstream. So it's little wonder they've now raised the bar once again.
For their latest offering, guaranteed to get your summer style in gear, the brand didn't go the usual hemp-cotton blend route, but figured out how to make an heirloom-quality fabric out of 100% hemp.
"Between its versatility, its top-notch texture—enhanced here with a garment wash—and its incredible tensile strength, hemp [has become] one of our all-time favorite fibers," Taylor Stitch notes.
The updated cut features four pockets, including patch button-throughs on the rear, an elasticized waistband for a comfortable fit, and handsome dark horn buttons. And act fast because they're in stock but small-batch, so don't expect them to last long.
