Yellowstone from creator Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Sicario) kicked off its fourth season last night with style and firepower, rarely taking its foot off the gas as it stormed through the mayhem. Pure catnip for Michael Mann fans.
And though it's not usually recognized for its wardrobe (the lush frontiers do most of the heavy lifting, visually) it does manage to sneak strong style through at times. This is most apparent with Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes), who personifies the modern lone ranger type with essential pieces like his signature waxed canvas jacket.
At first glance, it may appear to be Filson or Barbour, but we can confirm it's from independent American menswear brand Freenote Cloth, who opted for 10oz Martexin waxed canvas with a Japanese, Southwestern-inspired body liner and custom hardware from Kentucky. And though it's been sold out after the news initially broke, a fresh restock just landed here.
An unbeatably cool look for cowboys and non-cowboys alike, there's no going wrong with this in the wardrobe.
