Super-cool surfing lifestyle brand Saturdays NYC is launching a sleek new line of grooming products for its legions of fans. To kick things off they're debuting a trio of hair pomades in minimalist containers that won't cramp your style.
Each is formulated to create a specific look: the petroleum-free Wet Wax is for a "polished, high gloss shape incorporating a firm hold yet leaving out the oily feel"; the Grooming Cream offers texture and shine for a natural finish and light hold; and the Clay Pomade delivers a "sculptural yet lived-in style" with extra hold and a matte finish.
All three pomades are light in fragrance, water based, and made to rinse out easily. “The Saturdays brand has always centered around our personal lives," notes co-founder Colin Tunstall. "Diving into the grooming department was always something that we looked forward to."
Two years in the making, the brand plans to expand the line into a full collection of body care products this summer, including "apothecary" and shaving products with the same pared-down sensibility.
Made in the USA, all pomades retail for $24.00 for a 1.7 oz pot. The Grooming line will be sold in all Saturdays NYC locations including the original New York stores and outposts in Japan and Australia which sell everything from surfboards to sneakers, as well as on www.saturdaysnyc.com and at select boutiques worldwide.
