If you read this site regularly, you already know Everlane is one of our favorites for essential essentials. You might also know that we cover underwear very very infrequently. That's because most are either (a.) overpriced or (b.) wildly uncomfortable. Fortunately, Everlane spent over two years developing what they think is the perfect pair.

There's no flashy designer name on the waistband or elaborate design on these, just your basic colors in a premium Supima cotton that is softer and twice as strong as normal cotton as well as US-grown. There's a close (but not uncomfortable) fit through the leg and the waistband is specifically designed to not roll. It took them 12 prototypes to get it right and the end result is more than worth it.

Like everything Everlane does, these are available at a "wholesale" price, as they sell directly to the consumer and don't mess with wholesale markups. One pair will cost you $18 but two pairs will cost you just $28. Fill up your top drawer and never look back....
