CDLP Launches New MOBILITÉ Collection With Help from Dolph Lundgren

CDLP is padding out its MOBILITÉ collection of sportswear essentials with new AW21 pieces designed as outer layers for pre and post-workout sessions. And they tapped none other than actor and martial artist Dolph Lundgren for the launch lookbook, which was lensed by photographer Jonas Unger.

Lundgren — perhaps best known for his breakout performance as Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV (1985) — has always oozed "alpha male" vibes in the public eye. But CDLP artistic director Christian Larson was drawn to him not as a contrast to the artistic energy of his lifestyle label, but for his life experience, philosophy, and dedication to strengthening the mind as much as the body. "He's truly the antithesis of traditional masculinity, he is humbly self-aware, connected to his emotions, peacefully confident, inspirational, and aspirational."

On display in the lookbook, hoodies and sweatpants in new colors and styles lead the way along with an especially noteworthy half-zip sweatshirt with minimalist branding across the chest.

Each is built from robust heavyweight fabrics and cut slightly oversized and relaxed for a modern feel. Additional features include enhanced flexibility, mesh ventilation, non-chafing seams, no-tag constructions, and effective moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties.
