Now that fall is here in earnest the style gurus at Taylor Stitch are really hitting their stride. Jackets, boots and tweed suits have already started pouring out of their workshop, but don't overlook their remix of the humble wool sweater, now available for pre-order.

At first glance, the new Lodge sweater is a classic rough-and-tumble crewneck designed to be a cool-weather go-to. But of course all Taylor Stitch garments have hidden depths, you might say.

Blended with merino it becomes as tough as steel as well; for "countless years to come" you won't see a loose thread, a worn-through cuff or threadbare elbow on this beauty.

Marled yarns add amazing depth and texture to the knit which features jersey stitch construction throughout, while the ribbed neck and cuffs are double-thick for durability.

Available in charcoal grey or cardinal red, it's set to ship come November when you'll start to need it most. And as always, their pre-order model saves you a wad of cash.
