Kevlar Meets Denim With Flint & Tinder's New Jeans

What do bulletproof vests and Flint & Tinder’s new Defender Jeans have in common? An insanely strong material called Kevlar, used in the construction of nearly all law enforcement clothing, and, now, the brand's newest denim launch.

Handmade in Los Angeles from premium selvage denim, these jeans are woven on heritage shuttle looms by the oldest denim manufacturer in Japan. Coupled with the reinforcement of the Kevlar material, the Defender Jeans remain comfortable while strong for long-term wear – no catastrophic blowouts here – and they're finished with antique metal buttons, detailed back pocket stitching, and a YKK brand zip fly that’ll last as long as the denim itself.

Available in two different fits and priced to sell, head here if you're ready to dial in your denim.
