This Desert Camo Field Jacket is Tactically Terrific

Surplus Army jackets are all well and good, but they tend to fit like burlap sacks – and there's a reason the color is known as olive "drab." Leave it to Todd Snyder to modernize and update the military issue classic, turning it into a must-have.

The first thing to get tweaked on the Camo Desert Jacket is the pattern – Snyder's version is done in a mix of light and dark green "inkblot" camo, which has more of a contemporary look. It's made in New York of weather-resistant printed Italian ripstop cotton and features tons of pockets, a removable hood, and a storm guard at the front flap for "moody" spring weather.

You might just be going to the coffee shop instead of going to war, but it always helps to be properly armed. Pick it up today.
