Todd Snyder Elevates the Chore Coat With a Pair of New Styles

NYC-based menswear designer Todd Snyder is back with a fresh take on the chore coat, also known as the French workman’s jacket, which refreshes the normally rugged look in a refined, specially developed Italian virgin wool construction that channels old school camel hair topcoats.

The result is something that oozes high/low style and can pair with t-shirts and sweatpants as easily as dress shirts and knit ties.

And though the look you see above feels like the most versatile and practical outerwear move to make, Snyder and co. also released the same coat in a unique Buffalo Check pattern that feels ripe for the holidays.
