The flannel shirt can too often lean into "Brawny Paper Towel Guy" territory. But leave it to New York-based menswear designer Todd Snyder and his namesake label to reinvent the thing for 2022 and beyond.
The design is cut from an Italian cotton/linen fabric that's solid enough to throw over a t-shirt but light enough to wear on its own once the weather warms up. The camp collar modernizes it perfectly, too, while the black and grey check gives it a sleeker presence.
