Taylor Stitch's freshly launched Cyber Monday sale includes brand new items like the Mendocino Peacoat, which is being made in a strictly limited run of 100 pieces.
It's made of hearty 24-oz. wool from the famed Abraham Moon Mill that’s been operating in the United Kingdom since 1837, and cut in a classic hip-length silhouette in homage to the Navy issue original.
This is the very same wool, with a "remarkable loft and structure" to it, which was used by the British Army for decades, hence it comes in British Army green. Details include genuine dark horn buttons, leather pocket reinforcements, a sweeping lapel, and in-set sleeves that rest at a slight point.
Reinforced leather cuffs and sleek welt pockets are the finishing touches on what Taylor Stitch calls "a celebration of spectacular wool, transposed onto an immaculate, and extremely difficult pattern—forget heirloom quality, this coat is museum quality."
