Heritage-inspired wardrobe pieces with a vintage feel fill the collections of French label Arpenteur. But look closer and you'll see a connecting theme of style choices that feel like they jumped straight off the pages of The Adventures of Tintin, the iconic mid-century comic book by Hergé Studio filled with swashbuckling adventure. And that's not by accident.

From their start in 2011, Arpenteur founders Messrs Marc and Laurent Bourven have taken cues from the golden age of Hergé and other classic French comics and even brought in illustrator Régric to help with graphics and identity with his "ligne claire" drawings. Their pieces are all very fresh and cool but timeless in all the right ways as well. From bright yellow baseball caps to moleskin bombers and beyond, there's something for everyone who takes style seriously.

A 14-piece capsule just dropped on MR PORTER, with the standout piece being the graphic tee, above, that features a young French detective and his trusty hound.
