Top luxury hotels have to keep extremely high standards when it comes to sheets, discarding anything the moment the slightest of wear and tear appears. This led to ~22 million lbs. of European luxury hotel linen filling up landfills.
But no longer.
That's thanks to French fashion label Archivist, who are onboarding top hotels throughout Europe to make their waste management circular.
"The partner hotels gather their textiles and ship them to our studio," they note. "After a quality check and a professional cleaning, the textiles are cut and sewn into beautiful staple pieces."
We're especially big fans of their airy, cool, and 100% upcycled buttondown shirts, which deliver a relaxed, oversized fit and are finished with mother of pearl buttons.
