The Fastest Open-Top Car in the World

Sure, it might not be the world's fastest production car, but having the gold trophy and a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for world's fastest open-top car is still something Mamma Bugatti should be very proud of.

At a casual 254.04 miles per hour, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse (driven by Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu) took the coveted title. The orange and black model shown here will be on display at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month, with a price tag set at a measly $2.61 million dollars. Only eight special edition world record models will be sold in total.

I'm not completely sold on the orange and black color-way, as everything about it just screams "Halloween" to me. That said, a Bugatti of any size, color or shape is still a Bugatti---but if I'm dropping seven figures on a ride, I'd probably opt for something a little more subtle... Perhaps a simple silver or a jet black. This is a beautiful ride regardless though, and one absolutely any owner (they'll just be eight of them...) should be damn proud of.
