Here's a few cocktails that go a little beyond your average Manhattan without looking like something that can only be accompanied by a tiny bikini and an even tinier umbrella. You may have heard of some, you may not. Oh and remember guys, tip your bartender, act like a gentleman, and don't (ever) drive drunk. Cheers.

1 ounce smooth gin
1 ounce Campari
1 ounce sweet vermouth
1 orange peel (for garnish)

The Gaucho:
1 1/2 oz anejo tequila
1/4 oz mezcal
3/4 oz Original Combier
3/4 oz Cynar
4 dashes of coffee bitters
Malbec red wine float
1 orange twist (for garnish)

El Chupacabra:
1 ounce blanco tequila
1 ounce Pimm's #1
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup (1:1)
1 dash Peychaud bitters
2 pieces sliced cucumber
1/4 ounce Cynar
1 splash soda water

1 barspoon maraschino liqueur
Orange or lemon peel (for garnish)

8 to 10 mint leaves
