This Might Be the Ultimate Man Cave

The idea of a "man cave" is often a gross one: neon beer signs, a raggedy old Foosball table, an outdated television and, of course, a Lay-Z-Boy chair you couldn't give away for free on Craigslist.

But when done right and done properly, it's an oasis for relaxation, laidback conversation and indulging in anything from Sunday Ticket to a dram (or two) of rare whiskey with old friends.

One of our favorite examples is inside this oceanfront property in California with architecture by KAA Design Group and interior design by Douglas Durkin Design.

The room is centered around a luxurious pool table and well-sorted bar that feels more like a modernized country club than something one would be lucky enough to have in their home.

Of course, it opens out to a truly breathtaking patio with plenty of space for more lively entertaining when desired.

And when the views of the Pacific Ocean aren't enough, subtle outdoor televisions allow you to catch the big game as the West Coast breeze and sunshine wash over you.

Can it get any better....?
