Zenith Remixes the Defy Extreme in Carbon Fiber
In celebration of its role as the Official Timekeeper of Extreme E — the electric off-road racing series that spans from the Saudi Arabian desert to the Arctic — Swiss luxury watchmaker Zenith has just unveiled a new version of the aptly named Defy Extreme.
The timepiece pairs a stunning 45mm case made from layered carbon fiber and micro-blasted titanium with a bold tinted sapphire dial featuring multi-color detailing inspired by the "X Prix" color palette. It draws its power from the in-house El Primero 9004 automatic movement, which is good for 50 hours of power reserve and features a 1/100th of a second chronograph function.
Arriving with a trio of straps to swap in and out, it's set to release here later this month.
