Microsoft just unveiled their next video game console, the Xbox Series X, due out at the end of 2020.

Locked and loaded with 4x the processing power of the Xbox One X, it will run on a custom-designed processor from AMD that's based on their latest Zen 2 and next-gen RDNA architecture. That should deliver 4K visuals at up to 120 fps, which will put it in line with the priciest of PC towers despite the much more approachable package.

It will also arrive alongside a refined controller, which will accommodate a wider range of players, features a "SHARE" button to make it even easier to capture clips and screenshots, and is clad with an improved directional pad.

And if all that doesn't get you too excited, know that Halo Infinite will likely launch alongside the console, which doesn't have an official price tag yet but will almost certainly come in at $499 or $599.
