Valve has just unveiled the new Steam Deck, which offers a handheld gaming experience for your library of PC games with the ability to dock the device for instant TV connectivity. It's clearly inspired by the Nintendo Switch but made for gamers who prefer the breadth and flexibility of PC games over the 38th version of Mario Kart.
In terms of specs, it's fitted with storage up to 512GB and is powered by a custom AMD chipset with 16GB of RAM. Unfortunately, however, the 7" screen only clocks in at just a 1280x800 resolution for 720p gameplay.
Set to arrive in Dec. in the middle of the holiday shopping rush, interested buyers can get their pre-order in here.
