The UO Smart Beam is a tiny projector that can provide some 720p quality imagery on any wall or surface. You can shoot video wirelessly via your computer, phone, or tablet--or connect without cords to the TV box with Miracast or DLNA. If any of those options fail, there's the 'ol fashioned HDMI hookup as well. Priced at just $420, this is a solid alternative to a regular TV, but is most interesting when used hanging poolside, out camping, or in the boardroom as a presentation tool. The only bummer? No 1080p, but we can only imagine that it's coming in part II.
And it's less than $500.
