Taylor Stitch and Jack Mason's New Watch Collab Is Right on Time
We've been waiting for quite a while to see what Taylor Stitch's first watch collab would look like; obviously they took the time to get it right. And the result was well worth waiting for.
The S.F.-based apparel artisans have partnered with Texas watchmaker Jack Mason, known for its stylish and affordable timepieces, on a cool new chronograph that marks a major milestone for both brands.
The Jack Mason x Taylor Stitch Aviator Multi‑Scale Chronograph as it's called is the best wristwatch the Texan brand has produced so far and a fitting piece for Taylor Stitch's long-awaited foray into in-house watch offerings.
Inspired by chronographs from the 1930’s, the handsome watch "taps into the golden age of aviation” when pilots relied on their timepieces' functionality and versatility; good looks were no less important.
"Combining vintage design elements with modern finishings," the chronograph features a 42mm stainless steel case and a matte navy dial with gray and red accents and applied metal indices for retro flair and technical appeal, as well as a double signature from the two brands.
Powered by a reliable Ronda Z50 movement, the case is tested for water-resistance of up to 100 meters, and the markings and indices feature a Swiss Super-Luminova coating for low light visibility and high legibility.
It comes in a box set with a tan Italian leather strap and a navy canvas strap and is equipped with quick-release pins to easily switch between them, while the specially-engraved caseback commemorates the historic collab.
Pre-order it now and save $100 of the full price which means you can score this handsome piece for just $495.
