The long-awaited Sony Xperia Touch, the world's first touchscreen projector, is finally available in the United States with a hefty price tag of $1,700.
Turning nearly any surface into an interactive screen, the short-throw laser projector can display imagery up to 80 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and is loaded with the latest Android operating system with access to a variety of Google apps and services.
Couple rounds of Fruit Ninja? Let's do it. Movie night in the backyard? Can do. Though it will be hard to justify acquiring this for most people, the technology is incredibly impressive and we're excited for this to advance (and come down in price) over time.
