Samsung just showed off its 2018 lineup of QLED 4K TVs in New York City with your normal yearly bump in performance alongside a truly game-changing “Ambient Mode” feature that camouflages the television into the wall.
Setting it up is pretty easy. All you do is take a photo of the environment behind the television and it maps it to the screen, utilizing shadows and other tricks to seamlessly integrate into the wall. For those who take their interior spaces seriously, this is a phenomenal way to hide traditionally ugly technology without sacrificing a proper setup for the big game and Netflix binges.
Available in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 75 inches, these will hit stores beginning March 2018. If you're looking to save a few dollars, the entire 2017 collection is currently on sale and up to $3,000-off.
