This Bluetooth Speaker Is Made From a Ferrari's Formula 1 Tire

Italian tire company Pirelli makes rubber for the world's fastest and most beautiful cars – a Ferrari wearing anything else would be sacrilege – and also puts out an annual calendar full of sexy celebs and supermodels. Now it's getting into the audio game with a cool new speaker that's a must-have for anyone into motorsports and Italian design.

The new PIRELLI P ZERO sound by IXOOST speaker is a collab with an Italian firm specializing in high-end, handcrafted car audio systems, and comes housed in a replica tire made by Pirelli for Formula 1 Teams to conduct aerodynamic testing. The Bluetooth-enabled beauty features an amplifier with a 100-watt digital signal processor, a 100-millimeter midwoofer and a 25-millimeter silk tweeter.

Just like the real thing, it's available in nine different colors that reflect those used to distinguish the different tire compounds used in racing. And for the finishing touch, Pirelli just unveiled at an actual F1 race, the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix de France, where Louis Hamilton crushed the competition in his insanely fast Pirelli-shod Mercedes AMG F1 W09.
