The Panerai Radimoir Gets an Art Deco-Inspired Special Edition

Originally developed in the late 1930s, the Panerai Radimoir already has a little art deco style flowing through its veins but a new special edition from the brand takes things to new levels.

The 47mm timepiece is still pure Panerai, of course, with its oversized good looks, water-resistance power and in-house movement with three-day power reserve. But the fresh face is what makes this watch so interesting. Turns out, it's based on an antique pendulum design found inside Panerai’s Piazza San Giovanni storefront, which has been ticking since the 1860s. They spun the art deco design into their own creation and gave it two distinct colorways: black (PAM791), which you can't go wrong with, and a particularly striking cream (PAM790) that not only amps up the uniqueness but doubles down on the vintage style.

Each model will be limited to 500 examples and retail for $9,200. One of each isn't overkill, right....?
