Dive watch aficionado's Oris just dropped a stunning limited edition timepiece that honors Carl Brashear, who was both the first African American master diver AND amputee master diver. He's an amazing human being.
The watch is made out of bronze to pay homage to the old school dive helmets of the '50s and features some bells and whistles you'd expect from a relatively premium watch: sapphire crystal face, automatic movement, and a caseback with Brashear's diving helmet engraved in it.
This should be hitting stores shortly and we can't think of many cooler additions to your watch collection if you're a rugged outdoors-obsessed kind of guy. No word on exact pricing yet, but our best guess is somewhere between $2,000 and $3,000.
