Famed Swiss watch brand Omega is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission with a special edition re-creation of the Speedmaster BA145.0220 gifted to Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969 and then produced in a limited run shortly after.

Made from a new alloy called 18K 'Moonshine' gold and powered by a manually-wound Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 movement, the 42mm watch is clad with a burgundy ceramic bezel, black onyx markers and black varnished hands over a solid gold dial, and a special decorative caseback with a partial world map domed lunar meteorite inlay.

Limited to 1,014 examples and arriving in a lunar-inspired 3D-printed presentation box, expect it to hit authorized dealers this July.
