German engineering, world-class watchmaking, and award-winning product design: NOMOS Glashütte's timepieces are all this and more. Known for an elegantly understated aesthetic and specialization in mechanical watches, NOMOS Glashütte has developed a cult following and is winning new enthusiasts daily.

One of its newest models, which is already one of the brand's most popular designs, is the awe-inspiring Autobahn. Renowned German designer Werner Aisslinger collaborated with NOMOS Glashütte on this sporty new timepiece powered by the brand's new neomatik date caliber. This ultra-thin in-house movement with a date function is setting a new standard for automatic watches.

The Autobahn models are easily recognizable by their "clear forms, steep curves, novel displays, and perfect surfaces," with an automotive overtone that isn't overly adorned with scales and gauges. Rather, Autobahn clearly states its design objectives and creates a perfect sense of motion.

The 41mm watches, which feature a 42-hour power reserve, come in three different variations, each with colorful accents and details such as large superluminova markings and an extra-wide date window. There are white-on-white, white and blue, and blue-on grey-versions, all of them extremely appealing.

Ready to kick it into high gear? The white-on-white Autobahn neomatik 41 date is available to buy here at $4,800; Autobahn neomatik 41 date midnight blue is available here at $4,800; and Autobahn neomatik 41 date sports grey is available to here at $4,800.
