Microsoft has just confirmed the Xbox Series S will be arriving alongside the Xbox Series X on Nov. 10, which is the smaller, cheaper version of the next-generation console with performance stats in line with the current line. Its purpose is — mainly — to replace the soon-to-be-discontinued Xbox One line while offering a more affordable gaming option for people wanting to still play the latest and greatest.

The Xbox Series S will support resolutions up to 1440p (with upscaling to 4K) and offer refresh rates up to 120 fps. It doesn't have a disc drive, either, so the small percentage of Blu-Ray enthusiasts will be out of luck.
