"What if we stopped using our phones as our alarms?" asks Loftie, a new product startup on a mission to better your sleep, mornings, and tech-life balance. "Technology, blue light, and stress hurt our ability to feel relaxed, fall asleep, and wake up refreshed. We’re out to break the cycle by removing the smartphone from bedtime and morning routines. Upgrade your rest, one good night’s sleep at a time."

They're kicking things off with a sleek alarm clock, which features lots of notable upgrades over your standard alternatives. For starters, it's also a white noise machine, a nightlight, a media player, a Bluetooth speaker, and a recourse for meditations, sound baths, and breathwork. It updates as you go, too, so you'll constantly have new content, sounds, gentle alarms, and more – even bedtime stories – to keep things fresh and unique. It's finished with thoughtful features like a backup battery if the power ever cuts out and a "blackout" mode that turns off the display entirely for sleeping.

If you'd like to try for yourself, head here to pick one up.
