The New Zealand-based watchmakers at Komrade recently unveiled the White Pointer, a nearly indestructible dive watch named after the local New Zealand moniker for the great white shark.
Despite its rugged go-anywhere-ness, there's something a little playful and lighthearted about its bold and stylish design, creating a cool juxtaposition with its mishmash of colors. It's like Andy Spade and Jocko Willink's design sensibilities collided.
Housed in a lightweight yet durable titanium case with a scratch resistant sapphire glass crystal with anti-reflective coating, the watch can handle up to 1000 m of water with ease and ships on a waterproof silicone band with stainless steel buckle. It's powered by a Swiss-made ETA 2836-2 automatic movement with 25 jewels.
Usually, this thing will set you back $899, but it's currently $100 off for a limited time, bringing the price down to just $799. To make things even more enticing, they even include a complimentary Komrade travel mug and travel pouch with each order. For under $1,000, you'll be hard-pressed finding a bolder, more capable dive watch with this much style.
