Luxury watchmaker IWC has just unveiled the Pilot's Watch Tribute to 3705, which nods to a 1994 release that featured a unique black zirconium oxide ceramic case. It was the first of its kind at the time and is now black ceramic cases are a staple in the watch world.
But unlike the model it replicas, IWC went with a proprietary 41mm Ceratanium (a special alloy of titanium) case in a black finish. It houses the 69380 calibre movement from the brand, which features 46 hours of power reserve.
Limited to 1,000 examples, the stealthy timepiece is available exclusively via Watches of Switzerland for $15,720 USD.
