Apple has just revealed the iPhone 13 Pro alongside the iPad Mini and an updated Apple Watch at a virtual media event held in California. And though nothing has drastically changed in terms of form or design, the subtle improvements add up in a big way for anyone thinking it's time to upgrade.

The top-spec iPhone offers extended battery life (an additional 1.5 hours for the iPhone 12 Pro and 2.5 hours for the iPhone 12 Pro Max) along with an improved camera featuring a "Cinematic Mode" for videos, IP68 water resistance, and a new Ceramic Shield providing additional glass strenth. It's all powered by an A15 Bionic chip, which is the fastest in any smartphone on the market according to Apple.

Both models feature a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion and adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz, with the iPhone 13 Pro OLED screen measuring 6.1” and the iPhone 13 Pro Max OLED screen measuring 6.7”. A few new colorways have also arrived, though we think it's best to keep it simple with charcoal/black.

Both models are due out Sept. 24 with pricing at $999 USD and $1,099 USD respectfully. Pre-orders, meanwhile, open up on Sept. 17 right here.
