This Incredible Hydrophobic Metal Makes Water Bounce Like A Ball
Wow, this is pretty cool. Some scientists at the University of Rochester have made a metal that is super-duper hydrophobic, so much to the point that water bounces off it like it's a tiny liquid bouncy ball. Whether this is applied to something as major as airplanes to prevent freezing or as minor as non-stick pans to make your AM omelette that much easier, it's a pretty wild invention and looks completely mesmerizing.
