ICON 4x4 Unveils Stunning Automotive-Inspired Timepiece
In car circles, Jonathan Ward is a name everyone knows. The founder of ICON 4x4 has been making some of the most lusted-over restomod rides over the last few years, gaining praise from all the right people in all the right circles.
Now he's spinning the ICON name into a whole new vertical: watchmaking.
The first timepiece from the newly formed Icon Watch Company is dripping with art deco coolness and a unique, automotive-inspired design that's far different than the majority of watches around the world.
It's housed in a 42mm titanium case and features a truly stunning dial crafted from polished onyx stone with an elegant alligator leather strap that'll pair just as well with a tuxedo as it would with jeans and a tee.
Under the hood, it packs a Dubois-Depraz automatic movement with yellow gold plated markings and a brass lizard, the company logo, in a yellow gold finish.
Limited to just 50 examples and shipping in Q1 of 2018, this beauty will set you back $11,500.
