Is virtual reality really the future? We've been hearing it for years and Facebook plans to finally make it so with Oculus Go, a standalone VR headset with no PC or wires attached.

There's no giant computer tower you're plugged into or Samsung Galaxy slid into the visor. It's 100% standalone, from the built-in spatial audio to the 538ppi 2560 x 1440 WQHD fast-switch LCD display. And it's all controlled and configured through the Oculus App on your iOS or Android smartphone.

But perhaps the best part is that it's magically only $200 and available now through Amazon. Yeah, for real. Early reviews are stellar, with many people chiming in that this feels like virtual reality's "iPod moment." Time will tell....
