IWC has linked up with Collective Horology — the exclusive member's only group of engaged and diverse watch collectors — on the ltd. edition Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition C.03.
Limited to just 125 examples and available to new and existing members, the no-nonsense tool watch features a 41mm stainless steel case and pops off with a crisp black and white dial and a German day/date display. It's powered by the in-house 69385 automatic with 46 hours of power reserve, which is on display through the caseback.
"With the C.03 we’ve sought to create a watch that distills our favorite IWC era and reference – the late 1990s and IW3706, the first pilot’s chronograph," notes Collective Horology. "That time and watch still loom large in the hearts of collectors worldwide. The brand had an unapologetic swagger, a no-frills Swiss-German approach to design, and displayed serious watchmaking bonafides. With this project, we aimed to bottle that spirit, and bring it into a modern context."
