Canon is going head to head with Fujifilm (and to a lesser extent, Leica) with the new IVY CLIQ+ Instant Camera featuring a capable 25.4mm f/2.2 lens.

The eight-megapixel camera can capture images and then instantly print 2x3 photos either as is or with a filter or text applied via the sister app. The app also allows you to send mobile-taken photos to the camera for printing, which, when you think about it, is a surprisingly handy feature.

Due to release April 3 and priced at $159, it's available for pre-order on Amazon now.
