Byredo Debuts Beautiful, Radically Unorthodox Room Diffuser

Luxury fragrance house Byredo has just unveiled the BYOJ-01 Biradial Controlled Directivity Scent Dispersion Device, an eye-popping and avant-garde room diffuser designed by Devon Turnbull, founder of the artisanal speaker and accessories brand OJAS, and Ben Gorham, founder of Byredo.

Speaker design theory is at the heart of the modern-meets-industrial design, which deploys stunning scents in a controlled manner. They suggest pairing it with a high-fidelity sound system, perhaps in a tasteful listening room, for a multi-sensory experience. "One where all of the elements should be considered and where setting and scent are critical," they note.

The ltd. edition release arrives with 10 scene capsules and is priced at $1,300 USD. But — as tends to be the case with something this new, exciting — it sold out within minutes of release. StockX, in due time, might be your best option.
