Paris-based watch manufacturer Bell & Ross has just unleashed a trio of ultra-sporty chronographs celebrating their partnership with the Alpine F1 Team (formally Renault) that originally kicked off in 2016.
The Alpine F1 Team A521 collection (named after the single-seaters driven by Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon) nods to the visual identity of the team with pops of blue and white against black.
The collection is made up of three cohesive but distinct pieces. We'll start with the BR V3-94 A521 ($4,400 USD), which features a classic round 43mm stainless steel case fitted with a chronograph and a bi-directional bezel with a 60-minute countdown scale. It's powered by the BR V3-94 A521 with 47 hours of power reserve.
The BR 03-94 A521 ($6,400 USD), meanwhile, features a 42mm square case with a round dial opening finished with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. Its chronograph is paired to unique toggle push buttons with a black PVD coating and like the BR V3-94 A521, it also features a bi-directional bezel with a 60-minute countdown scale and a BR V3-94 A521 automatic movement.
The BR-X1 A521 ($21,500 USD) rounds things out with bold, technical style and a large 45mm square case that combines grade 5 titanium with elements in ceramic and rubber. It stuns with an entirely skeletonized dial showing off a specifically developed BR-CAL.313 movement and is finished with toggle titanium push buttons (covered in rubber for increased grip) that evoke paddle shifters. It's limited to just 50 examples worldwide.
