Bamford London has linked up with watch-focused publication Revolution on a special edition Bamford London GMT featuring Snoopy as Joe Cool, sporting dark sunglasses and a sweater emblazoned with the name of his alter-ego. Wei Koh — founder of Revolution — weighs in on the appeal of the iconic beagle: "On my Mount Rushmore of Cool, no, wait, make that seated in my Halls of Valhalla of Cool, presided over by the unassailable king, one Terrence Stephen McQueen, would be, in no particular order, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, James Byron Dean, Bob Marley, Bob Mitchum, Bruce Lee and, a beagle that so embodied the ineffable quality that unites the cinematic legends and musical giants that, from time to time, they would whisper amongst themselves, 'Goddamn, that dog is just so cool.'"
The uber-stylish timepiece features a 40mm stainless steel case that'll look good on every sized wrist and is heavily coated with lume for extra visibility and style points.
It's powered by a Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement with a 42 hours power reserve and finished with a black Cordura strap providing a bold contrast against the dial. The watch also arrives with a special box in the shape of Snoopy's iconic doghouse, fully lumed out. What a play.
The special edition release is limited to just 100 examples worldwide and available to order here for $1,900 USD.
