Autodromo has just revealed a special edition model of their Intereuropa watch, available exclusively to participants in the Copperstate 1000 last year. It's limited to just 95 examples and available to order here if you qualify.
Perfectly sized at 39mm, the stainless steel stunner is powered by a Swiss-made ETA 7001 manual wind movement and finished with a rally strap in notable Saffiano leather. "Saffiano leather was originally patented by Prada in 1913 in order to make scratch-resistant calf leather for luggage," the watchmaker explains. "It finds use here as a luxurious material that will wear well in sporting context but which is equally dressy for formal use. Each leather strap is handcrafted in Rome, Italy."
Its biggest changeup however comes in the form of its multi-layered dial. They went with a gorgeous copper color this time around, which pops alongside a Copperstate 1000 graphic on the subdial and a chapter ring with 3D numbering inspired by 1950s gauges.
